Around the World with 200 Postcards from Death Row

From May 18-July 22, 2013, REACH Coalition member Lisa Guenther will travel across Europe and Australasia with 200 Postcards from Death Row.

The postcards were designed by REACH in collaboration with members of WUI Collective, Jonathan Rattner and Jon Engelbrecht. Watkins College of Art student, Bryant Smith took the project to a new level when he responded visually to the postcards with his own art project. Bryant’s response inspired us to explore further possibilities for communication and collaboration across the prison walls.

For this next phase of the project, inside members of REACH have self-addressed 200 postcards to be distributed to people across the world and sent back to Tennessee’s death row with a message or drawing from afar.

Click HERE to track some of the postcards from Chicago to Geneva, Paris, Berlin, and beyond.  More images will be posted in the weeks to come.
